after the success of last year the FLING FESTIVAL is back and we're very chuffed to be hosting the LIVE MUSIC STAGE!
it takes place in Central Park, Chelmsford, and is an Over 18 festival featuring music, comedy, spoken word, burlesque, beach, massages, food, drink, sunshine + a whole load more!
we'll also be hosting the SILENT DISCO where our resident DJs, VOID COLLECTIVE battle it out with the likes of SUPERSONIC DJs, FORMAT & BADSPELLER.

barhouse opens the garden every Sunday afternoon & night from 7th June for a weekly dose of laidback grooves.
part of the outdoor area roof will be coming off to let the sun beam down, with an outdoor sound system and DJs playing a summer mix of funk, reggae, disco, soul, roots and hip hop. Plus live acts & bands!
there is also a BBQ open every Sunday from 3pm, with burgers, dogs & veggie grub lovingly supplied by local bistro MUSTARD.

Barhouse TV is a LIVE visual and audio broadcast that streams from the inside of barhouse eaturing bands, acts and DJs all playing live from the stage & dj booth.
It also features the crowd & dancing (good & bad).
The broadcast will be streamed live courtesy of local Chelmsford online radio station: www.roughtempo.com. check them out for guest mixes from the likes of Leeroy Thornhill (Prodigy), Cut La Roc, Atomic Hooligan and Trevor Rockcliff + more.
This is the first time an Essex venue (and possibly UK venue!?) has ever broadcast their gigs LIVE on a regular basis. And is also one of the only music venues that broadcasts both live bands & cutting edge DJs.
The idea of barhouse TV is to provide a ‘live club experience’ to people whilst in the comfort of their own homes, and also give people a chance to be part of a barhouse night no matter where they are in the UK or overseas.

It's going to be the only local student indie night with live bands, acts and DJs, plus your usual cheap drinks and free giveaways!!
The Underground Heroes kick off the night with Red Track and Ruper & The Robbers in support.

Thats right, the Cheeky Cheeky girls will be playing a live naked hardcore thrash set @ barhouse!! OK, so that isn't true, but we can wish. Instead we have Suffolk band CHEEKY CHEEKY & THE NOSEBLEEDS making a trip down the A12 to provide us with some of their infectious indie pop. After rave reports from their performance at Latitude the barhouse HQ is looking forward to this one..

SECRETSUNDAZE was officially named by Mixmag (and pretty much every other dance music online and print publication) as the number 1 UK party over the last few years. The London summer based party has a huge following which has seen Secretsundaze being asked to host parties in Ibiza, Snowbombing and Sonar. Co-founder and resident JAMES PRIESTLEY will be stopping by barhouse for a super duper special set of house and techno. can you Adam n' Eve it!?

Although only been open a few weeks and also an out of London venue barhouse seems to have struck a chord with one of the leading underground house & techno record labels in the bloomin World, DIRTYBIRD. After his set at the barhouse launch weekend Dirtybird head honcho, CHRISTIAN MARTIN returns for another appearance. And in tow is another of the Dirtybird rising stars, WORTHY who'll also be sharing some of his wonky minimal beats. Both of them will be playing barhouse in Oct..
